Will boss of the month curse Morgan?
LLANDUDNO manager Alan Morgan is hoping the curse of being awarded the managerof-the-month award for August will not come back to bite him this afternoon for the visit of resurgent Barry Town United.
The Seasiders have made a sensational start to the campaign, topping the Welsh Premier with 10 points from four games, last week’s 2-2 draw at Prestatyn the first dropped points to date.
Back on home soil this afternoon, Morgan is wary of the reputation of the visitors.
“Barry have got a massive history and they’ve done really well to get back where they are today,” he said.
“Their manager Gavin Chesterfield has played a massive part in Barry’s resurgence and it’s going to be a difficult game as they don’t give much away.”
The Robins look to get back to winning ways as they host strugglers Aberystwyth Town, who have yet to win under new boss Neville Powell.
Bala Town, who have made a patchy start, will be without Alan Stephens, who has a knee injury, for the visit of Carmarthen.
