Recognising good practice in the NHS

Western Mail - - WM VIEWS OF WALES - Rebecca Payne, Chairwoman, RCGP Wales

HAVE you come across a GP or a practice team who have given you outstanding care?

We hear a lot of bad news stories in the NHS, but we need to make sure the good news stories are recognised too.

Two awards, hosted by the Royal College of General Practitioners Wales, aim to do exactly that.

The GP of the Year and Practice Team of the Year awards recognise GPs and the wider teams who go above and beyond to provide exceptional care.

Both awards are nominated by patients. Last year we had some powerful examples of just how important general practice can be.

If you have come across great care, then please consider submitting a nomination. More details can be found on the RCGP Wales website, or email Les or ring 020 3188 7759. Nominations close on July 27.
