Man arrested after car crash
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash on the A470 that left a child needing hospital treatment for a head injury.
Police posted a picture of the aftermath of the crash on social media.
Four cars were involved in the collision on the southbound carriageway at the Coryton interchange, near junction 32 of the M4 at Cardiff on Thursday.
The Welsh Ambulance Service said three people were injured in the crash.
A spokeswoman said a child sustained minor head injuries and was taken to hospital after they were called to the scene just before 7pm.
She added two adults suffered minor injuries and did not receive hospital treatment.
The main carriageway was closed for about an hour with cars having to go down to the roundabout to then rejoin the A470 after the motorway.
