Bobby Davro’s varied career has included hit comedy shows, playing Vinnie Monks in EastEnders, and taking part in reality shows.

But behind the success, there were problems…

‘My heyday was a fantastic time,’ Bobby tells celebrity therapist Mandy Saligari, ‘but I was still striving for my career and didn’t pay my wife enough attention.

‘We divorced and agreed to share all the things a family shares – birthdays, Christmas, holidays,’ explains the funny man, who has three daughters with his ex-wife, Trudi Jameson.

Although expert Mandy sees how hard he works to keep everyone happy, she feels there’s another issue to be addressed – Bobby’s drinking. And as she digs deeper, he reveals his innermost fears, leading to an emotional breakthrough.

‘I’m not denying I’ve used alcohol to dampen down some of my pain,’ Bobby admits. ‘There are tears ahead of me, but I’m going to take Mandy’s guidance. It’s not too late for me to nip it in the bud.’

On reflection… Bobby Davro talks about his life. Left: In his 1980s heyday and with his ex-wife, Trudi
