Learning lessons from Grenfell
(Wales, 7.00pm) The Grenfell Tower disaster in June this year, in which an estimated 80 people died in a raging inferno at the 24-storey tower block in London, shocked the nation. Former residents have come forward to say they had been raising concerns about fire safety for years, but claim they were largely ignored. The event made many question the safety of their own homes, particularly those living in blocks of flats. In this Housing Enforcers special, Matt Allwright meets tenants who have been affected by fire and investigates what can happen when residents and landlords fail to take fire safety seriously, and looks at why fires start and what we can do to stop it.
