Diana’s Secrets

Where London - - Entertainment -

Many people have found it hard to accept that the car crash that killed Diana, Princess of Wales, in Paris in 1997 was an accident. Rumours and conspiracy theories have circulated ever since and now playwright Jon Conway claims to have uncovered what he calls ‘sensational new information’ about that tragic night. His play, Lies,Diana (from 9 Jan; p. 42), tells the story of a playwright who begins to discover secrets about Diana and her death. Using the real words of Diana’s friends and family, police officers and those involved in the crash, the drama promises to be a revealing and thought-provoking take on an event that still holds a huge emotional resonance for the British people.
