Your carriage awaits

Where London - - Nightlife -

Purporting to be the site of an abandoned underground station, Cahoots transports you back to 1940s London, from the vintage train carriage seating to the wooden ‘escalator’ leading down to the bar. Even the menu looks like an old broadsheet newspaper, with cocktails divided into categories according to their ingredients, which reflects the tastes and practices of the day. After 10pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, there is swing dancing and live music. Don’t be alarmed if you don’t understand the staff – they slip into Cockney rhyming slang every now and then. So shine your ‘ones and twos’ (slang for ‘shoes’) and prepare to party like it’s VE Day, 1945.
