Not­ting Hill Car­ni­val be­gan in 1964 as a way for lo­cal Afro-Caribbeans to cel­e­brate their cul­ture. Since then, it’s grown into Europe’s largest street fes­ti­val. It brings a riot of colour and mu­sic to the streets of Not­ting Hill ev­ery Au­gust bank hol­i­day. Ex­pect steel bands, sound sys­tems, a pa­rade of re­veal­ing cos­tumes and alot of jerk chicken…
