Who Do You Think You Are? Magazine - - WELCOME -

Missing ancestors – they are what makes family history both frustrating and fun. “Where are you?” we mutter under our breath as we scour online indexes – but the hardest to find can also bring us the most joy as our ‘Eureka moment’ feature (page 74) demonstrates each month. It’s those special moments that genealogist Laura Berry enjoys the most when she’s researching for the TV series and she’s got lots of tips on finding elusive forebears to share with readers (page 17).

This month marks two important centenaries: the battle for Gallipoli (page 22) and the sinking of the Lusitania (page 52). If you have family who were affected by these events then please share your stories with us.

Finally, we’re off to Birmingham’s NEC for Who Do You Think You Are? Live, from 16-18 April, so pop by our stand to pick up some bargains and say hello. Don’t worry if the workshops look sold out on the website, there are always tickets held back on the day, just head to the Workshop Ticket Booking Desk. It’s going to be the biggest event yet so we’re getting very excited. See you there!
