info@ huguenotsofspitalfields.org Celebrating the lives and talents of the Huguenots, Huguenot Summer – which is being run in partnership with the City of London Corporation – runs until 26 September. More thann 100 events across various locations will be taking place, many of which are free. Among the highlights is a talk by Kate Wigley on the Royal Silk of Spitalfields on 9 June at Hanbury Hall, Spitalfields. Kate is archivist at the Warner Textile Archive and will be talking about the stunning silks worn by Royals and woven in Spitalfields by Huguenots. Another noteworthy event at Hanbury Hall is Dr Graham Tomlin’s talk on the spiritual leader John Calvin on 9 July.
