info@ huguenot­sof­spi­tal­ Cel­e­brat­ing the lives and tal­ents of the Huguenots, Huguenot Sum­mer – which is be­ing run in part­ner­ship with the City of Lon­don Cor­po­ra­tion – runs un­til 26 Septem­ber. More thann 100 events across var­i­ous lo­ca­tions will be tak­ing place, many of which are free. Among the high­lights is a talk by Kate Wigley on the Royal Silk of Spi­tal­fields on 9 June at Han­bury Hall, Spi­tal­fields. Kate is ar­chiv­ist at the Warner Tex­tile Ar­chive and will be talk­ing about the stun­ning silks worn by Roy­als and wo­ven in Spi­tal­fields by Huguenots. An­other note­wor­thy event at Han­bury Hall is Dr Gra­ham Tom­lin’s talk on the spir­i­tual leader John Calvin on 9 July.
