Tech­nique used to make silk flow­ers us­ing heated brass tools. MILLINERY WIRE A ten­sile wire used to sta­bilise the brim edge. This wire was of­ten thread- cov­ered. RUSH Cape­line made of a stiff, thick straw, usu­ally left its nat­u­ral green colour.
