Northants records

Who Do You Think You Are? Magazine - - WRITE IN -

I was pleased to see the article on Northamptonshire as well as the downloadable content. However, it is a shame you did not mention as a source for those with Northamptonshire ancestors. I am currently transcribing Brackley baptisms, marriages and burials for the website, which has just been updated and has a modern look. Transcribed records when loaded are available for searching the next day. We have just achieved over one million transcribed records for the county. One advantage is that we transcribe the complete register entry taken from microfiche.

Perhaps you could bring this to the attention of your readers. Anthony Trice, by email Editor replies: Thank you for that Anthony. There are so many great resources for each topic and we can’t always fit them in the magazine. However, this month we have featured Freereg in our 30-minute Genealogist slot on page 94.
