The mak­ers of the TV se­ries are search­ing for fam­i­lies and in­di­vid­u­als to take part in a liv­ing his­tory ex­per­i­ment that will re­veal what life was re­ally like for thee Vic­to­rian poor.

Wall to Wall Tele­vi­sion is look­ing forf strong, de­ter­mined con­trib­u­tors who think they could sur­vive life on the Vic­to­rian bread line.

Set in the late-19th cen­tury, par­tic­ci­pants will be ex­pected to find work, mas­ter old trades and sell their wares in or­der to put food on the ta­ble and makem the weekly rent.

The BBC se­ries is due to be filmed over three weeks in Easter 2016 and the new Vic­to­ri­ans willw re­lo­cate to East Lon­don for the du­ra­tion of film­ing. TheT pro­gramme mak­ers are par­tic­u­larly in­ter­ested in hear­ing from peo­ple who have an­ces­tral con­nec­tioons to the East End, live in the area to­day or prac­tisee a trade that has Vic­to­rian roots.
