Who Do You Think You Are? Magazine - - ON THE RECORD -

Artefacts from the history of British policing have been put on public display for the first time. Open until April, the Crime Museum Uncovered exhibition at the Museum of London showcases over 500 objects from Scotland Yard’s notorious ‘Black Museum’, which is normally open by invitation only. As well as items relating to recent felons such as Ronnie Biggs, the exhibition offers a gruesome insight into Victorian crime and punishment, with the death masks, hangman’s ropes and Jack the Ripper memorabilia on display.
