Couple discover Nazi census in home
A cache of Nazi documents has been discovered at an apartment in Hungary. The haul, which includes more than 6,300 papers, was found stuffed into a wall cavity while Budapest couple Gabor and Brigitte Berdefy were undertaking repairs to their home. The documents were identified as forming part of the 1944 Budapest census, which was used by the Nazis to plan the removal of the city’s Jewish population. Read more at bit.ly/1TNrUcH.
