Postal ar­chive set to close un­til spring

Fam­ily his­to­ri­ans trac­ing postal worker an­ces­tors may have to take a brief break from their re­search. The Postal Museum’s ar­chives at Freel­ing House, Lon­don, will be closed from 11 Novem­ber to en­able staff to pack up and move the col­lec­tions to the new £26 mil­lion Postal Museum site nearby – set to open its doors to the pub­lic in spring 2017.
