Irish genealogy ‘ toolkit’ hits the web

A ‘toolkit’ aimed at people starting Irish family history research has launched online. Designed by the National Archives of Ireland, the 2016 Family History website ( bit.ly/ 2016FH) contains a range of free guides, videos and case studies about the basics of Irish genealogy. Although the site was created as part of the Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme, it was formally launched in February at Muckross Park College in Dublin, whose pupils were involved in the testing process.
