Findmypast adds Boer War register

A register of men who served in the Second Anglo- Boer War has been added to findmypast. co.uk. The collection, also available for a fee from casus- belli.co.uk, is based on extensive research undertaken by military enthusiast Meurig Jones using hundreds of different sources. Containing over 293,000 entries, the database may list a soldier’s rank, regiment and service number, and whether they were killed or wounded in action.
