New advice website for borough
A PROJECT set up to help people get information on a range of issues has launched a new advice website.
The website by Advice Cheshire East is a way for residents to get advice quickly on issues such as tax, health, social care and legal issues.
Advice Cheshire East (ACE) is the name given to a network of advice providers in the borough. A project called Cheshire East Coordinated Advice Project (CECAP) - set up with National Lottery funding to transform advice services in Cheshire East - helped launch the website for people to access information without having to book appointments with Citizen’s Advice Bureau and other organisations.
Alice Taylor, project assistant for CECAP, said: “The website aims to help people help themselves.
“It’s a brilliant resource which takes you straight to the information that you need from trusted sources.”
For information go to advicece.org.uk. The CECAP project is currently maintaining the site, or contact the project team on 01625 430 217 or email info@ cecap.org.uk.
