Food gifts donated to Foodbank

SLOUGH: The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Slough donated 510 non-perishable food items to Slough Foodbank on Monday as part of its ongoing coronavirus community support initiative.

This donation follows the monthly homeless feeding session by the group last week with Slough Outreach.

President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Atiq Ahmad Bhatti said: “At this time of year, wherever possible, each of us must double our efforts to ensure we look after those who may be in need of meals, food items, care and support.

“It continues to be a challenging time for us all, but through such donations we are able to continue to serve humanity and the local residents of Slough.”
