“We are all ex­cited at how we can go on to de­velop the cur­ricu­lum and experiences with Clyde Val­ley High School.

“I am look­ing for­ward to all we will go on to achieve and in­spire in our new build­ing.

“The school is stun­ning and al­lows learn­ing to flow from rooms to more open ac­tiv­ity ar­eas. This build­ing will al­low us to de­velop learn­ing for the 21st Cen­tury.”

Coun­cllor Jim Logue, Leader of North La­nark­shire Coun­cil, added: “We are ab­so­lutely com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing all our young peo­ple with the very best start in life and we have in­vested over half a bil­lion pounds in new school and com­mu­nity fa­cil­i­ties.”

The new cam­pus is the first all- through school in North La­nark­shire, with ac­com­mo­da­tion for nurs­ery, pri­mary and se­condary pupils.
