Wishaw/Motherwell
Motherwell Photographic Society Members of the Society were treated to an interesting presentation from James Kelly, a young photographer from Aberdeenshire at their meeting on Thursday of last week. He gave a varied presentation, part of which focused on the Faroe Islands, a group of 18 islands situated in the North Atlantic. The images shown included the Aurora Borealis, Time Lapse photography and landscapes. The members agreed that the Faroe Islands provided excellent opportunities for some exciting photographic images. James was thanked by Brian Saberton, the club president, and given a warm round of applause. This week’s meeting on Thursday will be the final print competition of the season and is also the final opportunity to hand in images for the club’s annual ‘match an image’ competition.
