St Patrick’s dig deep for hospice
hosted a Sing A Long Mamma Mia event in St Patrick’s Church Hall which raised £2275.
The event was held in memory of Elizabeth Sefton who was loved and treasured by the community.
For this event, Rena Gallagher from Gallagher Food kindly donated a light supper and tea and coffees free of charge.
Two members of the congregation, Tracey and Cath took on the challenge of walking 10K a day around Dumpellier Park for 10 days.
They successfully completed this challenge and raised £1660.
Grace Peacock, Capital Appeal Fundraiser said: “The Church has raised over £9000 from collections at Church services as well as the challenges and events the congregation have taken part in.
“We appreciate their support greatly, and it’s fantastic to see the community spirit from supporting their local Hospice.”
