Park Springs Care Home celebrated Burns Night in style – with a week of Scottish fun.

The entertainment started with a pantomime, with a ‘ Highland Lassie’ from a local company performing and singing wearing different costumes. This went down w well with all the residents.

Local piper Ross Moffat, 12, has only been playing the bagpipes for eight months but his tunes went d down a treat.

Residents Jim and Robert Storrier, both bagpipers in their younger days, offered advice to R Ross who was delighted to receive su such valuable information to help h him on his piping career.

Gillian, from the Heritage Centre in Motherwell, held a Burns singa a-long with everyone joining in all th the favourite Scottish songs.

Pipe Major David Stark then a addressed the haggis before ev everyone tucked into the traditional m meal of haggis, neeps and tatties.

Rabbie no doubt would have had a great time.
