Prison after he was caught with baton
A Motherwell man has been put behind bars after he was convicted of public order and offensive weapon charges.
John Gray, of Airth Court, admitted shouting abuse, struggling with police officers and making threats .
The offences took place at a house in Huntlyterrace, Shotts, on July 1.
After trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court, the 36-year-old was found guilty of having an offensive weapon - a metal baton - in the Aldi car park in Mason Street, Motherwell, while on bail on July 24.
In court last week, Gray was sentenced to four months in prison as a result of his actions.
