Bon­kle Par­ish Church ser­vice, Sun­day school and creche is at noon on Sun­day. Items re­quired for the Shoe­box appeal this week in­clude small colour­ing books, coloured pen­cils, rub­bers, can­dles, combs, new socks, and un­der­wear. Speak to the min­is­ter if you know of any­one re­quir­ing a pas­toral visit. A lovely lunch was served af­ter the ser­vice last Sun­day, and big thank you goes to the ladies who made this pos­si­ble. Char­ity shop at Manse Road, New­mains is open Mon­day to Thurs­day, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Com­puter club meets on Mon­days at 10am and 1pm, and bad­minton is held in the large hall of the church at 7.30pm. Colt­ness guild meets in Colt­ness Memo­rial church on Mon­days at 1.45pm and the Arts and Crafts group meet at 7pm to 9pm. Oa­sis group run on Tues­days at 6.30pm in the small hall of Colt­ness Memo­rial church. Food Bank Thanks ev­ery­one for their con­tin­ued sup­port and is open in the vil­lage on Wed­nes­days at 1pm. Men’s and ladies club meets on Wed­nes­days at 7pm. Bi­ble study is held in the of­fice of Colt­ness Memo­rial church on Thurs­days at 10.30am, Thurs­day club is at 2pm, and choir prac­tise is in the church at 7pm. Rain­bows, Brown­ies and Guides meet in the hall of Bon­kle church on Fri­days at the usual times. Poppy Appeal Any­one knit­ting or cro­chet­ing pop­pies for the church Ar­mistice Day cel­e­bra­tion should hand them in to Carol King or bring them to church on Sun­day. Ladies fel­low­ship next meeting is on Novem­ber 6 with a guest from St An­drew’s Hos­pice. Al­ter­na­tive Christ­mas shop in Wishaw Par­ish Church halls, Main Street, Wishaw from Novem­ber 5-10, from 10am to 4pm and on the Satur­day at 10am to noon. Stone­house male voice choir presents an Evening of Song in Bon­kle church on Novem­ber 19 at 7pm.
