Kathy, 56, is a specialist nurse and chair of the British Menopause society, educating women through workplace awareness sessions. she also runs menopause study days for GPs and practice nurses. Which woman has inspired you in your life? a consultant i’ve worked with for 30 years, Joan pitkin, inspires me to drive forward my career looking after women. What’s your mantra? you reap what you sow, both in the way you treat others and how you look after your health. What couldn’t you live without? my husband and three children. i am a professional woman but my family has always been my priority.
What advice would you give to your younger self? believe in yourself and make time for your family.
