If you’re di­ag­nosed with breast can­cer, or have a strong fam­ily his­tory, you’ll be of­fered a blood test to check if you have a faulty gene. If the re­sult is pos­i­tive you’ll be of­fered mam­mo­grams, mri scans or a mas­tec­tomy.
