Ant & Lisa’s new test
The couple are longing for children of their own
After a turbulent few months, sources say Ant Mcpartlin and wife Lisa Armstrong’s marriage battle is not over just yet – as the couple face further torment over starting a family. Since Ant, 41, left rehab for a painkiller addiction two months ago, insiders tell Woman’s Own that Lisa, 40, is thinking about the future – and their dream of having kids.
Our insider explains, ‘Lisa has concerns that Ant may never be in a position to have children because addiction is something you don’t ever fully recover from.’
‘They’re desperate for children, and without them, they worry their marriage could run its course,’ the source adds.
TV star Ant has opened up before about their struggle. Speaking in 2013, he said, ‘We’d love to have kids. We’re trying. It’s tougher than you think when you get a bit older.’
However, Ant and Lisa are said to be working through their problems and hope their relationship will be stronger.
Our source says, ‘Lisa has fears for their future but she’s determined to work things out, especially after everything they’ve been through.’ We wish them all the best.
