of Brits from suffer Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)* 29%

1 Keep moving

‘In winter, it can be difficult to pull yourself out of your slumber, especially with such dark mornings. Gentle exercises such as walking and stretching can be invigorating.’

2 Eat healthily

‘When it’s cold, we eat for comfort rather than health. Eating little and often, plus avoiding starchy foods (such

as bread, potatoes and pasta), can help stop a slump.’

3 Get your nutrients

‘Supplements containing vitamin B and ginseng can be good energy boosters and help keep you mentally alert.’ Try Pharmaton Vitality Capsules (£24.99 for 100, Boots) to help relieve fatigue and restore vitality naturally. Your pharmacist can advise you accordingly.
