Coleen has taken a step back from the limelight after she and Kim came face-to-face back in August, resulting in an Ofcom investigation and a cancelled solo tour in 2019. Her fans appeared to turn on her and she even received hate mail from people wishing her dead.

The mum-of-three admitted at the time that ‘it’s been the worst week of my life’ as she broke down in tears during an interview on This Morning to discuss the catastrophic show that saw Kim walk off.

Kim has since broken her silence on the feud, with the 76-year-old confessing, ‘I don’t wish her any harm and I’m sorry she has no job on Loose Women. I can say, hand on heart, I didn’t cause it and I hope, in time, she gets back on her feet.’ There’s no doubt a break is likely to have given Coleen time to recuperate, but it will surely be having a big impact on her finances. ‘Around Christmas is when Coleen earns a big chunk of her income,’ a well-placed source tells us. Especially since she reportedly received between £200,000 to £300,000 for her role as the Fairy Godmother in Bradford Alhambra Theatre’s production of Cinderella, last year.

Add to this the cancellation of her solo tour and not having appeared on Loose Women since August – with no plans for her return – and it seems as if the future is very much up in air.

‘What with putting off her tour, she’s in a corner, financially, but the reality is she can’t face the public. And without Ray, life has suddenly become very lonely and bleak,’ adds our source.
