You Use SPF…

But Rely On Your Foundation

Woman's Weekly (UK) - - Short Story By Gabrielle Mullarkey -

If you buy make-up with an SPF rating, be aware that you’d need to apply an awful lot of it to get the results needed. Dr Emma Wedgeworth, Consultant Dermatologist and British Skin Foundation spokesperson says, ‘The SPF rating on a bottle is calculated on the assumption that we use 2mg per square centimetre of skin.’ Use about a teaspoon of broad-spectrum sunscreen on the face and neck and apply your make-up on top.
