Plump for foods brim­ming with zinc (seeds, beans, nuts, whole­grains and green leafy veg­eta­bles such as chard and kale), beta-carotene (sweet pota­toes, car­rots and spinach) and vi­ta­min C (straw­ber­ries, broc­coli, bell pep­pers, toma­toes and citrus fruits).
