I can­not thank you enough for your ar­ti­cle of­fer­ing 10 steps to­wards a health­ier heart (26

September). My part­ner had a heart at­tack not long ago and he has to watch his health now very closely. But I had been eating very un­healthily. Be­ing a full-time carer for my 94-year-old mother, I put my­self last. I fi­nally got my choles­terol checked and it was 9! Af­ter your ar­ti­cle I de­cided to look af­ter my­self – I ate por­ridge for break­fast ev­ery morn­ing, (as op­posed to noth­ing!) and had my five-a-day (as op­posed to two!). I also started eating yo­gurt and walk­ing for at least 15 min­utes ev­ery day. Within one week my choles­terol went down to 7 and I feel and look much bet­ter. Thank you, not only for mak­ing me feel and look younger and health­ier, but also po­ten­tially sav­ing our lives.
