Concussion Checker

Woman's Weekly (UK) - - Gardening -

A blood test to help diagnose mild concussion has been approved by US medical authorities. Concussion is ‘brain bruising’ caused by a head injury. It can produce temporary disorientation, vision disturbance and amnesia, and more serious brain bleeding must be ruled out. It can also trigger post-concussion syndrome, symptoms include headaches, dizziness and problems with memory, concentration and mood for weeks after, so a blood test could prove very useful.
