Although I love fit­ness, swim­ming has never ap­pealed to me. Swim­ming length after length seemed bor­ing and weren’t pools strictly for chil­dren’s play and sum­mer fun? But I must ad­mit hav­ing read your ex­cel­lent ar­ti­cle Your Ul­ti­mate Fit-to-swim Guide I have changed my mind; there are ob­vi­ously a lot of ben­e­fits to get­ting in the pool. It builds longer, leaner mus­cles and it can be a so­cial thing if you go with a friend. I can even swim for free with my gym mem­ber­ship, so I went three times this week! I’m now en­joy­ing swim­ming. Thank you for the en­cour­age­ment!
