THE COUNTERMOV­EMENT BOX JUMP

Technique

Start with feet shoulder-width apart. Come down to a half squat – as soon as you reach this point, explode up onto the box. Aim for the shortest amount of time between coming down and springing back up. Land with soft knees – don’t allow the knees to collapse in – and then stand up. Step off the box and repeat.
