Try car­o­line’ s favourite full-body work­out for se­ri­ous body gains

‘ Toned arms, slen­der waists, firm thighs and shapely glutes don’t sim­ply rely on low body fat alone, you will also need to gain some lean mus­cle tis­sue which will only be achieved by fol­low­ing an in­tel­li­gent weight train­ing pro­gramme,’ ex­plains Sarah Lind­say, Car­o­line’s PT, ex-Olympian and founder of Roar Fit­ness. She goes on: ‘Train­ing should not be seen as pun­ish­ment for what you ate yes­ter­day but in­stead, start think­ing of it as a cel­e­bra­tion of what your body can do. Food is the fuel you need in or­der to per­form your best in your train­ing ses­sion and re­cover from it for the next one! Train like an ath­lete and trust me, you’ll start look­ing like one and that hot bikini bod will au­to­mat­i­cally fol­low.’

This full-body work­out is based on su­per­sets (in pairs), which helps in­crease the to­tal amount of work you can com­plete in a sin­gle work­out.
