‘As a marathon runner I feel out of my depth but, as a PT, I have an understanding of how to programme for something like this. I have a strict regime that caters to my strengths, but more importantly, my weaknesses. On non-running days I protect the longevity of my joints with weight training which also improves speed and endurance.’
