The Good Egg in Stoke New­ing­ton, Lon­don, for its shak­shuka (baked eggs, toma­toes and pep­pers). Hap­pi­ness strat­egy? Host­ing long leisurely meals with ev­ery­one crammed round the din­ing ta­ble ex­chang­ing sto­ries and catch­ing up. There’s some­thing joy­ous in that.
