How to turn your pad into a wellness sanctuary

The pursuit of good health has come home to roost – in your living room, your kitchen and your hallway. From energyshifting selenite lamps to chill-out zones worthy of a Silicon Valley start-up, wellness thinking is starting to infiltrate the world of interior design. ‘We saw the makings of this trend with hygge,’*says psychologist Dr Jane Mccartney . ‘Economic and political uncertainty have brought about a change in spending priorities, coupled with a rise in stay-in socialising.
