SIGNS YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG
You’re not using your arms
‘As you squat before you leap, bring your hands just behind your bum,’ says Simmons. ‘Then, as you spring up, swing your arms over your head. Finally, as you squat on top of the box, let your arms come back down to help you decelerate.’
You’re not landing properly ‘You want to land softly on the balls of your feet before shifting your weight back on to your heels as you come to a complete stop,’ says Simmons.
You’re too stiff
‘Start and finish with knees slightly bent to prevent injury,’ warns Simmons.
