Mountain lion

World of Animals - - The Wildlife Of Yellowstone National Park -

There are only thought to be around 25–35 mountain lions in Yellowstone National Park all year round, with others entering the park on a seasonal basis. True to their name, they often live in mountainous areas where they mainly prey on deer. During winter, when food is scarce, they tend to migrate to lower altitudes.
