swimming and hunting

World of Animals - - All About Cuttlefish -

Cuttlefish have a lateral fin that allows them to stabilise themselves for perfect hunting and a syphon that can supply a quick burst of jet speed in case predators are nearby. They hunt by employing sneaky methods, such as ambush, camouflage and even hypnosis. Prey is secured by snatching it up with their two elongated sucker-covered feeding tentacles.
