Meet the family Groupers
In the world’s tropical and subtropical waters live the groupers - a band of slow-moving, big-mouthed predators with some unusual abilities
The concave face and wide body give the humpback grouper its unique appearance. The species’ most common name comes from the moustache-like yellow stripe on its face. Matching its colourful backdrop, the coral grouper is covered in bright colours and small leopard-like spots.
