ACS SEPSI
The team from Sfantu Gheorghe, one of the oldest cities in Transylvania, will be playing in the Romanian top division next term for the first time in their history.
Sfantu Gheorghe is a Hungarian stronghold, which may prove problematic for the authorities given the traditional antipathy of Romanian football fans towards their Hungarian counterparts.
Sepsi will, however, be forced to play their top-flight matches in the nearby city of Brasov because the 5,000capacity Stadionul Municipal in Sfantu Gheorghe does not meet the league’s licensing conditions.
