We’ve been in a party mood re­cently thanks to the re­cent night­clubs up­date to GTAV On­line, so we de­cided to go back to where all of that dis­co­danc­ing spirit was at its best in Grand Theft Auto

Cor­ners Of The Earth (p102) may be in the past, but with the evenings draw­ing in and an omi­nous fog ris­ing around a new Cthulhu game in the near-fu­ture, we’re re­liv­ing our past en­coun­ters with the Great Old One in this month’s Ret­ro­spec­tive. To dis­tract our­self from ocean hor­rors we’ve also un­leashed our in­ner pas­sions for Ja­panese RPGs over on p106 thanks to an in­flux of great games such as NieR:

Au­tom­ata. It may be a niche genre, but it’s start­ing to make quite the come­back on Xbox One. Fi­nally, af­ter all that Red Dead Re­demp­tion 2 ex­cite­ment in our huge cover fea­ture we’ve got our cow­boy boots on while prac­tis­ing our ‘yee-haw’s and are cel­e­brat­ing by look­ing at The Top 10 West­erns in Xbox His­tory over on p108. It’s time to sad­dle up as we saunter off into a beau­ti­ful Xbox-shaped sun­set to­gether to ex­plore new hori­zons. Giddy-up.
