Super Salcombe back on track

Yachting Monthly - - LETTERS - Rupert Hancock

Salcombe has always been one of the most beautiful and interesting harbours on the South Coast. Unfortunately its reputation for courtesy and value has, in recent years, become more questionable.

Therefore I am delighted to report that my three-night stay there in June was a revelation. The harbour’s staff were uniformly helpful and courteous and indeed provided an outstanding service, going out of their way to help in all manner of ways.

The harbour and entrance remain as beautiful and spectacular as ever.
