You don’t need to sail a tank to roll with the punches of the ocean and Nica has been de­signed to take some hard knocks and still func­tion to a high spec­i­fi­ca­tion. For the build, the Ger­man yard Knierim yacht­bau was cho­sen for its great track record for build­ing in car­bon from one-off race boats to the Ger­man Amer­ica’s Cup en­try back in the early 2000s. Largely due to the metic­u­lous spec­i­fi­ca­tion, most work­ing parts of this yacht are strong, sen­si­ble and have prac­ti­cal back-ups in the event of fail­ure.
