City centre office expansion for team at Carter Jonas
PROPERTY FIRM Carter Jonas is expanding its operation in Yorkshire after moving to new city centre offices.
The Leeds-based firm has relocated its 30-strong team from 1,500 sq ft at Carlton Tower on St Paul’s Street into a 4,500 sq ft office at Nine Bond Court.
With a network of 38 offices across the UK including four in Yorkshire, the move is part of Carter Jonas’s strategy to enhance its commercial offering in Leeds and surrounding region.
Carter Jonas’s Leeds office first opened in 1995. The relocation follows a number of significant hires for the team including Simon Grundy, as head of planning in the North, and Bruce Allan, as head of valuations in Leeds.
John Webster, partner and head of Carter Jonas Leeds, said: “The relocation marks an exciting new chapter for our team in Leeds and across Yorkshire.
“Activity in Leeds and the surrounding area has grown exponentially over the last five years and there are a number of large scale development opportunities in the pipeline and coming to fruition.
“With this in mind, and given the strength and depth of our expertise, we believe we are well placed to further strengthen our position in the market in order to add value to our clients’ investments, resulting in a positive impact on the region.
“More broadly, this expansion is the latest in a number of relocations for Carter Jonas.”
